She has been wanting to do this since 2011, having not found the "right" permanent location... she just kept looking. Having events in parking lots and schools, she actually grew tired of jumping from place to place, she wanted a place EVERYONE would know where to go on a Saturday. Sharing her idea's with friends and neighbors who encouraged her to keep trying. She did just that. During several meetings with Tracy Wright and Nancy Criss, producers for A Horse For Summer movie that was being filmed here in San Tan Valley. (Carrie was the Production Coordinator) Carrie noticed that the Rodeo Hard Building was only being used 1/2 way, the other half was empty and about 10,000 sqft of enclosed backyard. PERFECT! After "that's a wrap" The three ladies sat down and listened to every single crazy idea she had and was immediately on board! Was a perfect moment!
Netty Riggs, San Tan Valley, AZ
Netty joined the San Tan Valley Farmer Market & Bazaar 3 days after the "go" meeting. A long time friend and business owner of Carrie's she was a perfect addition to keeping Saturdays a fun place for community members to visit. Carrie didn't really give her much of a choice (LOL). Netty and her husband Joel Riggs owns and operates a local Carpet Cleaning Company, we all know as Riggs Services. The two have been really good friends going on 8 years and counting. These two together get it done!!!
Netty is a great asset to the San Tan Valley Farmers Market & Bazaar and continues to come up with awesome ideas.
The two have a indoor store together they call Glitzzed & Glama!!
Tracy Wright and Nancy Criss, San Tan Valley, AZ
Tracy Wright and Nancy Criss, owners of Rodeo Hard, located at 1572 W. Ocotillo Rd., added U-Haul moving supplies to the horse tack and roping supply business they have been operating since 2008. Tracy Wright is a producer and writer, known for Crimson Creek (2015), Unconditional Love (2012) and Finding Mr. Wright (2011). Tracy truly enjoys spending time at the San Tan Valley Farmers Market & Bazaar each and every Saturday, as she interacts with community members and appreciates everyone's support.
Nancy Criss is NANDAR's Co-Founder and President. She is a woman
of many talents; all emanating from entrepreneurial spirit that
energizes her ability to create opportunities from success in
everything that she does. This belief in her first became evident
when, at age 11, she won a regional championship in western
horsemanship. Her love of horses and involvement in rodeo and
ranching continues to this day. By the age of 13 Nancy begun her
career in show business, with a role in the TV series, "Petrocelli,"
followed by a recurring roles in the Paramount series, "Webster."
Before long she was appearing in variety of TV and feature films,
commercials and stage plays.
THESE TWO WOMEN ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND THE LOVE THEY HAVE FOR
THEIR COMMUNITY IS OUT OF THE BALL BARK!!
