***PRODUCE AND THE ASU BREAD WAGON IS CASH ONLY***

Question: WHY DO I NEED A POWWOW CARD?

ANSWER: A powwow card is needed for new supporters. It helps borderlands food bank to track their supporters. This is also beneficial for their auditors when they request information on a specific supporter. PLEASE ALWAYS BRING YOUR POWWOW CARD.

You can obtain your POWWOW card that very Saturday.

Question: WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?

ANSWER: Many supporters bring a wagon, cooler on wheels, laundry baskets, Produce bags and other things along those lines. We have boxes on hand as well.

Question: WHAT TYPE OF PRODUCE WILL YOU HAVE?

ANSWER: Unfortunately we have no idea until the Wednesday before the "POWWOW". Produce is always being donated to Borderland.

Question: HOW LONG IS THE WAIT/LINE TIME?

ANSWER: We have 4 produce lines to make this as easy and as fast as we possibly can. Volunteers are a HUGE factor. ALSO the supporters choosing their produce in a timely matter all contribute to the "wait" time. last two was no more than an hour total.

The STVFM is open from 7am - NOON!

Question: DO YOU ACCEPT EBT OR WIC VOUCHERS?

ANSWER: NO, unfortunately we do not... The 60 for 10.00 and the ASU Bread Wagon is CASH. Vendors accept cash and CC. Maybe when we get bigger we will be able to apply for this.

Question: DOES THE STVFM ACCEPT DONATIONS?

ANSWER: YES! We depend on vendor fees to help pay our bills example Insurance, always making signs (spray paint, paint, wood, stakes etc),  property maintenance, and misc expenses. This community service event became expensive! If you would like to donate we would really appreciate it and the money does go back to this awesome Community San Tan Valley Farmer's Market. If we start making money our goal is to start programs USEFUL to our community supporters and perhaps one day start assisting Pinal County Food vendors obtain their permits as well. We have soo many great ideas and programs we would like to start for OUR community! We are also able to use donations towards a produce box for a vet.
