Q: I am interested in becoming a Vendor; what is the process?

A: In order to become a Vendor at the STV Farmers Market & Bazaar, fill out any necessary forms online Please also include product pictures. NO SPOTS CAN BE "SAVED or RESERVED" fee paid holds your "spot". FCFS Click HERE for application.

Q: What are the hours of operations?

A: Vendors shall remain open for business at all times that the Farmer’s Market/Bazaar is open for business, STVFM is the 2nd Saturday Monthly set up between 5am-6:15am EARLY BIRDS Start shopping at 6:30. Vendor shall not open late or close early. Vendors that do "close early" risk the chance of not being allowed to vend on future Saturdays. Customers expect vendors to be open and there during business hours.

Q: What do you do to Advertise?

A: San Tan Valley Farmers Market & Bazaar is ALWAYS advertising. We actually have been COVER STORY 3 TIMES on The Southeast Ledger. WE also create weekly flyers, update our Facebook page daily, send emails through constant contact weekly to guests that have opted to receive these emails, have community involvement, and have placed our event on several media calendars. We also advertise in many FB Groups.

Q: Do I need any license to sell merchandise at the Farmers Market & Bazaar?

A: Pinal County does not require a business license for businesses in San Tan Valley, an unincorporated part of the county. It is also recommended to contact the Arizona State Department of Revenue to find out about the taxes associated with businesses. They can be reached at 602-255-3381 or at www.azdor.gov

Q: Do I need any license to sell food or baked goods at the Farmers Market & Bazaar?

A: Many counties require a food handler’s card for anyone working in a food establishment but Pinal County currently has no such requirement. Environmental Health officials are nonetheless encouraging everyone working in the retail food business in Pinal County to take advantage of their low cost, web-based training opportunity to improve food safety knowledge. Home Baked and Confectionery Goods

Program Registration

Aizona residents are required by ARS 36-136(H)(4)(g) to register for the Home Baked and Confectionery Goods Program (THIS IS FREE) to be authorized to produce products for commercial purposes. Registrants can also choose to sign up for email updates from the program which will include food safety information, product recalls, and healthy baked good recipes from the Arizona Department of Health Services.

NOTE: If issued by your county, you must obtain a food handler card prior to preparing home baked and Confectionery goods for commercial purposes." NOTE: Pinal County does NOT require a food handlers card HOWEVER it is 10.00.

Q: What merchandise items am I restricted from selling?

A: You may not sell pornography, or any illegal items.

Q: What if I cannot attend, can I get a refund or transfer my booth to another company/vendor?

A: NO REFUNDS, OR SPACE TRANSFERS.

Q: What if someone injures themselves’ in/on my booth?

A: Each vendor assumes full responsibility for any injury to persons or property resulting from the display, sale, exchange or use of merchandise, vehicles, equipment, or other property; or of the assigned ground space occupied by vender and/or vendor’s employees or agents. Vendor further agrees to indemnify The San Tan Valley Farmers Market & Bazaar, and its officers, directors, employees, attorneys and agents from all liabilities, claims, and damages, and to hold them free and harmless there from, and to defend them at Vendor’s sole expense, against all such liabilities, claims and damages. We highly recommend some type of liability insurance.
